Grain Bank of Bulostioi Offices

 

The local office of the Grain Bank is a proud and modern limestone building standing at the western edge end of the Stradia. Constructed between 1314 and 1316, it is a symbol of the rebirth of the village and the region under the financing and development programs of the Grain Bank and the commitment of the Guild of Obrum and the many wealthy investors who supported them. The principle business conducted here is that of providing insurance to landholders in the region, but at tax time and harvest time, large sums of money pass through the bank, and a supplemental echelon of troops from the Order of the Flaming Sword from Bulostioi are garrisoned in the Order Barracks across the street to provide security.

Two months ago, Gavriela Nectria was appointed as the new Bursar here, but she was killed by a ghost on the night of 12 Trowel after leaving the office late at night. The Bank is staffed by an Accountant and two Clerks, pending the hiring of a new Bursar.
