Pastratorea Aurora Donatell

The Tuloszian word Pastratorea means 'record keeper' in Comerta.

Pastratorea Aurora Donatell is the Record Keeper for the town of Cosutanu, and as such holds an important position on the Town Council, which is particularly more important in this specific context, as it is her job to keep detailed records of the progression of the disease, including who became infected and when, and what is the outcome of their infection. She is currently under enormous pressure, and while she is extreme professional, tolerant, and polite, she does not have time for trivialities.

The Pastratorea is a kindly looking, middle-aged elvish woman of approximately 200 years. She has soft features and an atypically round face for an elf, with blond wavy hair, pulled up in a simple pony-tail. She dresses in simple clothes, and has a reserved and calm demeanor. She speaks with a noticeable Senecian accent.

Pastratorea Aurora Donatell can normally be found at Cosutanu Hall.

TOPIC: Cosutanu 200 years ago

Given her age, and given that the characters may discover long dormant secrets, they may ask the Pastreatora if she knows anything about events from long ago.

PASTRATOREA DONATELL

Hm... I am perhaps not quite as experienced as I appear. I'm afraid all this squinting over faint scribbles in poor light has given me more than my share of wrinkles. I've not quite yet reached my 18th decade, you see. As for Cosutanu in the past, well, I only came to live her - let me see - well it's been nearly fifty years, I suppose. I came to Tulosz from Senecia in 1370 and arrived here in 1375. I only took over the keeping of the records in 1412. So while I am the oldest of all the Consilieri, and the longest serving, I'm afraid my knowledge of the history here is limited to what can be found in the archives.

TOPIC: Who is allowed to view the archives

If the characters ask who has permission to access the archives.

PASTRATOREA DONATELL

The archives are a matter of public record, and, truthfully, anyone with a credible reason to search them would be given permission. Beyond that, myself, and any of the Council can access the archives whenever they want.

TOPIC: Anyone who recently asked to search the archives

If the characters ask about anyone else who might have recently sought permission to access the archives.

PASTRATOREA DONATELL

Hmm... I beleive the last person to inspect our archives was the Bulostioi Tax Assessor, several months ago. Aside from that, no one has asked to search the archives for quite a while.

TOPIC: Permission to search the town archives themselves

If the characters request to access the town archives they will certainly be granted permission without any need to provide a reason - their quest here is reason and authority enough.

PASTRATOREA DONATELL

Most certainly you can access our archives. Unfortunately, records prior to 1318 when the council took over the building are severely compromised. Town records seem to have been haphazardly kept, even during the Imperial Era, likely due to corruption. Between the end of the Imperial Era and 1318, the records were moved many times, scattered, damaged, pilfered… we’re fortunate that any of them have survived. If you need help looking for anything specific, I'll do my best to help, provided I am able to stay up to date with my current duties.

TOPIC: the Radulesc family

If the characters as her if she has ever heard of the Radulesc family or if she knows anything about them.

PASTRATOREA DONATELL

The Radulesc family? Why yes, I have seen some record of them, and perhaps there are more to be found in the mess that is our archive. A canis family if I recall. In the Imperial Era they owned the stretch of land along the river where the Stoia Orchards stand today. There are none from that lineage here now though - or anywhere nearby so far as I know. My assumption is that they were bankrupted or forced off of their land with the collapse of the Kingdom… who knows where they ended up?
