Dealing with the Ghost of Gheorigu Radulesc

There are four ways to bring an end to the haunting of Cosutanu by the ghost of Gheorigu Radulesc.

Destroying the Ghost

As with any ghost, Gheorigu Radulesc can simply be destroyed. Ghosts are notoriously difficult to damage due to their nature as phased entities which leaves them immune to most conventional damage, but Destruction spells (Freeze, Zap) can damage him directly, and potentially kill him fairly quickly. If the player characters simply kill the ghost, the threat will be eliminated.

Re-Binding the Ghost

Coins of Golmongarion placed over the eyes of the corpse of Gheorigu Radulesc, which still lies in his tomb, will prevent his ghost from being able to arise - at least for as long as the Coins remain in place. The Coins previously used were stolen from the tomb by Danut Procop, and then recovered by Captain Bucur, who has them still. Alternately, replacement coins could be requested from the Order of Golmongarion Barracks in Bulostioi by Mariara Stoica if she were to send a full explanation of the situation by messenger, but these will take several days to arrive.

Allowing Revenge

As long as Gheorigu Radulesc continues to roam free, he will seek revenge against the Nectrias for the murder of his entire family and lineage. If all the surviving members of the Nectria family in Cosutanu are dead (that’s 11 people) Gheorigu will be at peace, and the ghost will dissipate forever.

Rest In Peace

Finally, there remains the extremely difficult path of enabling Gheorigu Radulesc to rest in peace for eternity. This would require the player characters to not only see justice brought to the Mitrius, but also to see the modern day Nectrias take accountability for the crimes of their ancestors and actively work to make reparations in the name of the Radulesc family.
